Event Points -
When you win a event, you will be credited "Event Points".
Fixing the NPC that changes event points into item.

I love this idea.
Lets say winning an SGM Event for first place gets you 3 EP (event points), second, 2 EP, third, 1 EP.
An item is exchangeable for 20 - 50 (depending on the item) or maybe 15 the minimum. I like
